Training course for Lived Experience roles

Do you have lived experience of substance misuse?

The doors are currently open for people wanting to complete the online Level 1 in Substance Misuse with the Derbyshire Adult Community Education Service (DACES), starting on Wednesday 6 November between 6.30pm - 8.30pm, running for 7 weeks.

While this particular course is running imminently, if interested people aren’t ready or can’t make this opportunity, there will be other opportunities so please don’t feel pressured or rushed. All the details and frequently asked questions can be found below.

The New Lived Experience Career Pathway which aims to prepare people with lived experience who are interested in exploring a career within the field, to gain the skills, qualifications and experience necessary to support a paid career within the sector.

While this pathway doesn’t guarantee a paid position at the end, it will enhance opportunities to do so.  If you are aware of anyone that you feel might benefit from this pathway please do read on and share as widely as you can.
